Who we are

Tarot by Kalpa is operated by Withyou Inc. For any privacy question or request, email support@withyou.club.

What we collect

• Your question: the topic you choose, the question you write, and your answer if we ask a clarifying question.
• Your cards: the positions you drew from the deck, the cards found there and whether each is reversed.
• Your reading: the text written for you from your question and your cards.
• Your conversation with Ruhi: the follow-up questions you ask and the answers written for them.
• Purchase details: Dodo Payments processes your payment as merchant of record. We receive your email address, the amount and the payment status. We never see or store your card details.
• A device token: a random token saved in your browser so this device can open your readings without an account.
• Technical data: standard server logs, kept for a short time for security and to prevent abuse.

How your reading is written

Your reading and Ruhi's answers are written automatically by language models provided through Google Cloud. We send your topic, your question, any clarifying answer, your cards and, for follow-up questions, the conversation so far. We never send your email address or payment details. Under Google Cloud's terms, this data is not used to train Google's models.

How we use your information

• To draw your cards, write your reading and answer your follow-up questions.
• To email your reading, with its private link, to the address you gave at checkout.
• To take payment, provide refunds and answer support requests.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Analytics

We use Mixpanel to understand which steps of a reading people reach, for example that a question was submitted, cards were drawn, checkout was opened or a reading was unlocked, with the topic you chose and the amount paid. Mixpanel identifies your browser with a random id kept in your browser's storage and uses your IP address to estimate your country; it never receives the text of your question, your reading or your messages, or your email address. If you are in the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask before any analytics run. Everywhere else you can turn analytics off at any time with “Opt out of analytics” at the bottom of every page, and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, analytics never run.

Who processes data for us

• Amazon Web Services runs our servers and sends our emails (Amazon SES).
• Google Cloud writes reading text through its language models.
• Dodo Payments handles checkout, payment, tax and refunds as merchant of record.
• Mixpanel provides product analytics, as described above.

These providers may process data in countries other than yours, under contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your reading and conversation so your link keeps working, until you ask us to delete them. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you by emailing support@withyou.club from the address you used at checkout, with your reading link if you have it. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have further rights under local law, and you may complain to your data protection authority.

Age

Tarot by Kalpa is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
